The design and development of Product Service Systems (PSS), i.e. set of products marketed together with services for fulfilling in a more intelligent way the users\u2019 needs, require a high integration of modern ICT-based engineering tools and technologies. In particular, the easy, ubiquitous and fast sharing of product and process information \/ knowledge across the entire lifecycle of PSS is of paramount importance. In the context of the Horizon 2020 initiative, the European Commission has recently launched and promoted a European call for research projects in the area of PSS. <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n

\"ProRegio\"<\/a><\/td>ProRegio (Customer-driven design of product-services and production networks to adapt to regional market requirements) aims at developing manufacturing intelligence based product-service that will rigorously change the current way how customer requirements are addressed by manufacturing companies.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
